High protein soups are very flexible in their use. On their own they make a good broth like soup that is quick and a nice change from the sweeter supplements. They are excellent to use for low calorie, low fat and low calorie diets but do contain more sodium than the others so please be cautious if you are on a low sodium diet. For most people there will be no problem in they have much less sodium than a single hot dog. With more time these soups make a great base for a richer eating experience. Add the vegetables and protein that you may on your plan and make a fantastic soup. Mixed with water they make an excellent marinade or rub.
